Over the years the tourism industry has opened up the world so wide, that there are more places to visit than the number of tourists. China is one such country that is a dream for any tourist. With a plethora of places and vast cultural history, it is one of those countries which need to be revisited many times to enjoy its beauty. Here are some of China’s top tourist attractions cities and what you can do there:

Beijing

The capital city Beijing has played a very good host to the Olympics, thereby raising its tourism even higher. Beijing is both modern as well as culturally rooted with a royal past. Even though it has a population of 10 million, each year it attracts an increasing number of tourists. In Beijing you can visit the city’s biggest attraction and one of the Seven Wonders of the World – The Great Wall of China. This man made wonder spans 6700kms long and was built in the 7th century BC.

Shanghai

Situated near the Huangpu River, Shanghai is another of China’s major tourist attractions.
At Shanghai, you can experience a calm and serene life by the day, while the night lights up wit bright lights and colors. Shanghai is home to the famous Temple of Jade Buddha where each statue is said to have been carved out of a single white jade stone. You could also visit the Bund, which is Shanghai’s waterfront. It is a harbor and also has buildings from the 12th century.

Tibet

This city situated near the Himalayas is high in its spiritual culture. Its capital Lhasa is one of the most beautiful places to visit thanks to the might mountains that are around it. At Lhasa you could trek along the silk route or the Silk Road, which was the main gateway for merchants who entered Tibet through the other parts of the world. It is abundant in scenic beauty with the Mediterranean seas and the Himalayas.

Xi’an

Xi’an is another city in china that has a very old royal heritage. It became famous amongst tourists for the terracotta army. The terracotta army consists of almost 3000 real like soldiers are made in different size and are built with animals and weaponry. One look at this breath taking man made army and you will find it difficult to not touch and see these men who look like they may spring into life any moment.

Apart from these there are many other temples of historic significance and there also wildlife attractions like the city of Chengdu which is famous for giant pandas.

Once you have identified where you want to travel in China, you will want to book your hotel rooms and purchase your flights. The best website for finding hotel deals displayed in your local currency is HotelDealSite.com
